Still no word on internet yet... but... oh well...

Anyway, we went on vacation to Washington D.C. to see the sights and everything. You know how it goes. Nothing went how we planned though. Let me explain.

NOTE: NONE OF THE FOLLOWING IS MADE UP! THIS IS ALL TRUE!
First, right before we left, the screen door of our house fell off it's hinges. Yep. Just fell off. We ended up setting it down outside. Nobody's going to take a broken door, right?
Then, on our way to D.C., we get attacked by hail the size of nickles. We had to stop, along with a lot of other people, under a bridge until it died down. My grandmothers car has the dents to prove it.
If you have been watching the news lately, you probably know about the shooting that went down in D.C., right? We were down there when it happened. Yeah, we were on our way to the Holocaust museum (where it happened) and my aunt says "Lets stop in here!" It was a Smokey the bear museum. We weren't in there for a minute. When we went to leave the lady there says "you cant go outside." we say why, she says there is a shooting going on in the holocaust museum. The museum was only like, a 30 second walk from the one we were in. If we hadn't stopped to see Smokey, we would have been in the place when the guy was shooting. We were in lockdown for about 3 hours before we were escorted back to the metro.
And lastly, we just got back to the hotel, after eating. There was a gas leak in the hotel we were staying at. Firetrucks and Amublences were everywhere. We stood outside for a good half hour before the elevators were turned back on. (Our grandma was with us and she don't climb stairs too well...)

Well, now we are almost home. we stopped at another hotel for the night and that is how i am using the internet now. Crazy week... I just want to get home...
